How to Replace the Base Gear and Shock Pad for a 250W Blender

Step 1: Gather your tools, including a dish towel or paper towel, basic flat pliers, and a flat-head screwdriver that is narrow.

Step 2: Hold the blender blades with a towel, then remove the gear at the back end by gripping it with the pliers and turning it clockwise to loosen it. You will see some small screws once it is loose.

Step 3: Hold the blades with the towel again, then screw in the new gear counterclockwise. Use the pliers to secure the gear tightly.

Step 4: Use the flat-head screwdriver to remove the base and plastic parts by inserting it into the small notch at the bottom.

Step 5: Insert the screwdriver into the notch, slide the base in with the pliers, and rotate it clockwise to align the thread correctly. Keep in mind that the gear will move as you turn the screwdriver.

Step 6: Replace the base by holding one side with the pliers and tightening it counterclockwise.

Step 7: Once the blade gear and rubber gear are properly installed, your blender should be in good working condition.

Step 8: Install the shock pad as shown in the picture. It is recommended to purchase the 250W base gear and rubber gear together, which can be easily done by selecting the bundle option when purchasing on the website.
